Rozzers !!
Once we arrived , we were parked , with about 2000 other Smarts, recieved a little goodie-bag from Mercedes with vouchers to pay for lunch at any of the concession stands - bonus !

The factory display team had swapped their 'silver arrows' Mercedes CLK's for ForTwo's , with the traction control disabled ,and were merrily drifting (yes, DRIFTING) their Smarts around the skidpan. This was followed by an outrageous game of Top-Gear-esque Great Britain vs the world car football, which of course England won !
We then checked out the show & shine, which ranged from the sublime to the. ...ahem.. ..ridiculous !, with one car 'wearing' a knitted vest (I kid you not)
Having been part of the VW Golf Scene for a few years, I think the Smart 'scene' needs to mature. I think if you turned up with a car painted up like a retro mini, on minilites, with some subtle mods, you could absolutely clean up. One car , that really stood out was this 'Ferrari' Crossblade (an aeroscreened ForTwo).
The museum had brought in an entire set of pre-production pre-release cars from the Design Prototypes right through to the CrossTown concept 'jeep' , which were very interesting as were the two guys in the 'KaraokeSmart' singing the Proclaimers hits.
