After a great pre-blat I pulled into the new Sunrise Sevens HQ , (sorry I was a bit late chaps), to meet the rest of the squadron.
A quick tea was all I needed to get some heat back into my hands after a the subzero trip to the start point and we all fired up and headed out , following Sq Ldr. Carrol as we tried to match up to his 12/10ths driving style (10/10ths is for girls , and 11/10ths is just not trying hard enough)
Watching the sun rise over 5 crossflows (and one K-series !) , was pretty cool as the temperature and pace rose.
After a spirited drive, we parked up and headed to a very aptly named (and photoshopped !) restaurant, for a full english with lashings of tea before heading out to a more traffic-filled blat home......
......but what traffic !!??? - The cars on their way to Goodwood Revival included some fantastic cars - 50's Astons, Porsche 356's , Austin 7's and more old Jags than you could shake a stick at !.
Me and Paul lost the rest of the group but still managed some good progress and I finally made it home.
Another Epic blat organised by the soon to be knighted Carrots Carrol , and another 'Sunrise Sevens Approved Blat Destination' found .
