The boys at Pistonheads organised organised the last 'Sunday Service' of the year at Mercedes World Brooklands , and the weather held off. We even has some post-sunrise temperatures above freezing for a change !
The trip up to meet my two fello wingmen , IanH and SteveC, was cold and a little slippy !, and very very salty , my car having a nice salty covering of dirt on coming into Guildford. As I was a few minutes early, I thought I'd head up to the cathedral for a quick pic:

The usual 'enthusiastic' blat followed as I desperately tried to stay on the leader , as we scythed through the countryside, sideways mostly.
A record 731 cars turned up, with some interesting metal on the flight-line - the usual supercars, and some other cool stuff including an Atom with a windscreen (why ?), an Austin LandCrab (?), TWO old 3.0csl Batmobiles (drool !) , a Porsche 912 (....mmmmm !), and the car of the day for me, a Paxton supercharged Ford Capri.........Bodie and Doyle , turbo'd !!!

A new exhibit at MercWorld is the F1 floor, with replica McLaren, Force India, Petronas, Hakkinen's and Hamilton's McLaren cars (all Mercedes Powered) being represented. Star of the museum is a fantastic art installation of a suspended and exploded F1 car , made up of 3200 individually hung parts - very impressive.
This Aston N420 owner must've been crying as he paid this road tax bill !!!
We decided not to brave the queues for coffee & bacon sarnies and headed home, to put the cars away until new year !
Another great blat, gentlemen !!
