Pistonheads Meet at Rolls Royce

Another weekend another early start for a Sunday Blat, once again to Goodwood, but this time Garlick and Co had managed to organise a meet just around the corner at the Goodwood HQ of Rolls-Royce, home of the Phanton, and now the brand new Ghost.

The rain made the choice of which car to take easy - so I headed out in my 'big beetle' to collect Matt, a fellow PistonHead.

We followed a fellow Sevener Mark (F355GTS) in his new Ferrari California (nice !) . Upon arriving we were directed away from the main car park by the Rolls-Royce staff, and asked to put our hazards on. we then followed the marshalls and found ourselves directly parked outside reception, next to a rarely seen Stealth.

RR were kind enough to provide a choice of Breakfasts (at less than half the cost of Goodwoods Breakfast Club !), and coffee to wash it down. RR staff had also volunteered on a Sunday to marshall the events so hats off to you guys !

The new RR Ghost on the production line
The place was filled with more automotive exotica than you could shake a stick at, from Porsches, Zonda, Lambos, Ferrari, Lotus, Ultima, Rollers and even a few 7's braved the rain !!!!

Superb day - well organised PH !!!

Rounded the trip off with a swift cup of tea at Goodwood Aero Club, where we were joined by the Aston Martin Racing Team transporter.
